When you’ve been working hard towards a goal, and you reach a milestone with that goal, it’s important to take some time out and acknowledge what you have achieved. This isn’t limited to just health and fitness goals, but goals that you have set for all aspects of your life – including financial, relational, wellbeing etc.
Taking some time to pause, reflect and celebrate can provide you with additional motivation to keep going with your success. During this reflection it’s nice to remember and acknowledge the people you have been a part of your journey and helped you get to your point of success. I believe that when celebrating your success, it’s important to be mindful so that you don’t undo the hard work that you’ve put in to attain the success. Something to keep in mind with success is this, your version of success will most likely look different to the person standing next to you, and that is okay and should be embraced.
I want to take this opportunity now to say thank you to you, reading this post because it means a lot to me. This month, I celebrate 10 years of being in business. When I started, I hoped I would get to this point, and by being consistent through the ups and downs here I stand. In all honesty, I wasn’t sure I would get here but I was determined to give it a red-hot crack. The past 10 years have been filled with numerous challenges that come with running a small business, being invested in the health and well-being of a range of clients, riding on the highs of their successes as well as the difficult points too.
Whether we have interacted through personal training sessions, massage appointments, or you simply taking time out each month to open the newsletter and read it, I appreciate the opportunity to have contributed in a hopefully positive way to your life. Running this business has given me the opportunity to engage with a wide variety of personalities and experiences that have all helped me to grow and develop into where I am today. I genuinely hope that we can continue in our relationship and that whatever role I can play in helping to guide you on your continued health and fitness journey, you will allow me to do so.
There have been plenty of people of have formed my social network and have been a great support to me, and they know who they are and just how much they have helped.
I hope that like myself, as you continue your health and fitness journey you will realise that the people you meet along the way, whether it’s for a short season or a lifetime, have so much that they can offer. Be prepared to accept the help and enjoyed continued success.
Cheers to 10 years and here’s to the next 10.
